Christ

makes ppl nervous..
there is a battle.
an enemy.
trying to steal the planted word.
but Jesus is victorious.
He will not let His word fail.
we are just called to proclaim it.
not be scared of reactions
because it freaks ppl out.
but in love to tell them so that they can hear.
how can they believe on One whom they have not heard.
what happens to the seed is not our responsibility.
its to tell.
to love.
it will make them uncomfortable.
but they might die soon,
do they know Jesus cuz of you?

He is mighty.
He has promised.
are we telling?
are we showing?
uncomfortable,
awkward,
negative reactions
not our concern.
telling about Jesus.
facing with a choice.
His word, His gospel
changes lives.
not maybe,
are well telling,
living,
showing,
loving,
Jesus?

Great challenges.... I am reminded of something someone said to Helen Keller.. "What could be worse than having no vision? She replied, "Having sight without a vision" Keep up the vision Shawnda... If all of God's people would fulfill the purpose God gave them, what a different world we would have. Love you, mom

Shawnda,

It is so great hearing of all you're doing. You have the vision and passion for reaching out it our glorious Lord's name. You have stepped out in faith and that is wonderful.

"By faith we have entered into an eternal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. As a result, we are dead to sin and alive in God, and we now sit with Christ in the heavenlies. In Christ we are important, we are qualified, we are good. Satan can do absolutely nothing to alter our position in Christ and our worth to God. But he can render us virtually inoperative if he can deceive us into listening to and believing his insidious lies accusing us of being of little value to God or other people." - Neil T. Anderson

I am thankful for your work. We could all learn from your faithfullness.
